How the Law of Attraction Works When You’re Feeling Stuck

When you practice The Law of Attraction and you’re vibrating in the way that will attract whatever it is that you desire to you, that’s largely a subconscious process.

Here’s what happens when you’re feeling blocked and how affirmations can help you figure out what’s really going on behind the scenes…

If you are saying an affirmation to yourself and it generates a feeling that’s the exact opposite of what you’re trying to feel with that affirmation…

What happening is…

Saying the affirmation is causing feelings in your subconscious to rise to the level of your conscious awareness.

Those feelings were always there.

You said your affirmation and it has brought the way that you’re really feeling front and center. And you’re not impressed.

Let’s say, you’re working with an affirmation in love and it brings some stuff to the surface, right up to the level of your conscious awareness. And it makes sense, you really do feel this way about love and you’ve been trying to avoid these feelings.

The law of attraction is a lot like breathing.

You know you can control your breath at a certain pace.

You can slow it down, you speed it up.

You can breathe deeply when you focus on it consciously.

That’s kind of what all these exercises in the Law of Attraction are like.

You’re consciously breathing in deeply and calmly but then you forget to focus on your breathing and it goes back to whatever pace is programmed in subconsciously.

With the Law of Attraction, you’re trying to attract whatever it is that you desire in love in your life. You’re trying to generaate get more of that feeling and that vibration. Maybe you’re successful or may not so much.

Either way, what happens when you stop doing your affirmations. when you stop consciously trying to attract and vibrate in that way that will attract love or whatever it is that you desire…

When you lose your focus, your subconscious takes over (just like when you stop trying to breathe in deeply and slowly).

When you lose your focus, you go back to feeling however you really feel about love. It’s all happening behind the scenes, below the level of your awareness in your subconscious mind.

Your subconscious mind has taken over, just like it takes over the pace of breathing.

Whatever is running at the subconscious level becomes automatic.

In that same way those feelings that you felt when you were doing your affirmations – maybe they were good. That’s great.

But if they were negative and they weren’t vibrating at that frequency that you were trying to achieve by practicing the law of attraction – this is showing you what is really there.

If you’re saying your affirmations and all those negative feelings that are vibrating below the surface in your subconscious. – this is what is taking over when you’re not focused on the law of attraction.

Just like shallow breathing takes over for the rest of the time that you’re not focused on breathing calmly and deeply – which is probably most of the time!

So that’s why you’re feeling the way you do when you do your affirmations. Your affirmations show you the way you are really feeling.

When you’re feeling blocked or stuck..

Wherever there’s areas in your life where there’s no movement, or the Law of Attraction doesn’t seem to be working fast enough or not at all…

You may notice that you just wound up where you are. You didn’t really have to do anything to do with it. You might consciously be struggling and resisting where you are but the subconscious mind is like a cruise ship.

That ship will take you wherever it’s been programmed to go.

Take a moment to think of where that programming might have come from.

Whoever or whatever programmed it, it has reliably brought you to where you are right now.
