Different types of Visualizations
The first type of visualization is where you’re told what to visualize.
In meditation and hypnosis some popular visualizations are gardens, staircases or sacred spaces like a beach or a forest.
Your conscious mind tries to follow along with hese types of visualizations that are usually generic, pre-recorded and scripted.
There’s a second type of visualizations that comes from being in a deep resourceful state.
These visualizations are not the same as your conscious mind trying to imagine a scenario.
Instead, this is where the hypnotherapist connects you with your subconscious mind and the subconscious mind guides you to exactly where you need to go.
Sometimes these visualizations are waaay out there in left field but they make sense to you because they come from the intelligence of your subconscious mind.
I love observing my clients going through these types of visualizations, I refer to refer to them as experiences because they are not visualizations but learning experiences.
My clients are having an actual experience in their subconscious. Something is actually happening down there and they’re experiencing and learning from whatever is happening.
New neural pathways are transforming from dirt roads to superhighways.
But my clients don’t have words to describe what’s going on in their subconscious so they use metaphors that sound a lot like visualizations.
Metaphors, like, “I’m on a superhighway with limitless possibilities, I can’t see where it ends.”
These experiences have permanent, lasting results that expand to other areas of their life.
Whatever you want to call them, the solutions, and the new resources you find when you connect with your subconscious mind are incorporated into every cell of your body, every neuron in your brain, every fiber in every muscle.
This is your subconscious becoming congruent with your desires and you become unstoppable because it has started a domino effect and transform your experience of the problem.
There is a big difference between generic, pre-scripted visualizations and the visualizations or the metaphors that come from having an actual learning experience in your subconscious.
The difference is all in your outcomes.
