Why Some of Your Problems Persist
You solve a lot of problems.
You have a problem. You figure it out. You move on.
These are the problems where you can use logic and a bulleted list on a piece of paper to sort things out.
The conscious mind with its limited capacity to process seven bits of info (+/- 2) can come up with a valid and reliable solution.
There are some problems that you can’t solve with your conscious mind because they are complex.
These problems are like a Rubik’s cube and it’s like your conscious mind is trying to solve a 3D puzzle with a flat piece of paper.
There’s probably an emotional element to these kinds of problems that make them even more complex. Just thinking about the problem, may bring up feelings of frustration, fear, and/or anxiety. You might even sense a level of sabotage, internal conflict or hidden agenda that you can’t quite seem to figure out.
The conscious mind can’t solve emotional problems problem with logic because you can’t reason away your emotions. You can’t get rid of anxiety by trying to rationalize with the part of you that is paralyzed with fear.
Because emotions exist at a deeper level, they need to be solved at the level of the subconscious mind.
Hypnosis is a reliable way to connect with your subconscious because that’s where all the answers and resources to solve your complex problems are already waiting for you.
