How to Tell if Hypnosis Works or Not

Does hypnosis actually work?

I have an undergrad in Psychology and a Master’s in Neuroscience and I’ve always known about the subconscious mind but I could never see proof of the subconscious mind in action.

I tried hypnosis.

I went to a hypnotist. He told me to relax, go down some stairs, think of a magical place… After the hypnosis, I felt exactly the same way that I did at the beginning of the session which was feeling of blocked. I felt like there was something holding me back. Still.

So I left hypnosis sessions alone for a little while and came across hypnosis videos on YouTube (maybe you’ve tried those as well). These videos come with instructions to listen for 21 or 30 days.

It was basically the same thing as the hypnosis session. The videos try to get you into a relaxed state, thinking that you’ll be more open to suggestion in the relaxed state. Those videos might work for some people but they never really worked for me.

I tried to listen to these videos, right before sleep. I listened for weeks right before I went to sleep but I didn’t feel anything when I woke up.

I didn’t feel anything after days or weeks of listening.

There’s also stage and street hypnosis where they make you bark like a tree. It’s entertaining.

Then I started learning hypnosis.

I learned how to do the relaxation hypnosis where you get somebody to relax and take them down a path, get them to walk down some stairs and maybe get them to visualize a magic garden. It’s amazing what people come up with if they have an imagination and if they’re visual but if they’re not they might have some problems visualizing.

But just like anything in life, there’s different kinds of hypnosis. There’s the stuff that you find on YouTube that’s very general for symptoms, like not being able to sleep, losing weight, getting rid of anxiety.

And because we’re talking about hypnosis not working, one of the problems with this type of hypnosis, is that when someone’s telling you to relax and you’re not all in, you can actually stop relaxing, you can resist the process and stop the trance.

Stopping the trance is possible because you are always in control.

Here’s the thing is, if you don’t want to go into trance, you won’t.

There are other types of hypnosis, that aren’t for relaxation but therapeutic.

I learned a type of hypnosis that makes the most difference in people’s lives. It is a therapeutic hypnosis that is customized for the person.

The experience of therapeutic hypnosis will be different from any other session of hypnosis.

I’ve seen have amazing results from therapeutic hypnosis. Clients come in and have a problem, they feel stuck and blocked in a certain area of life whether it’s weight loss, relationship and we start to connect with their subconscious mind.

Instead of me giving the client suggestions, I do not interfere with the answers that the subconscious mind comes up with. Your subconscious mind knows exactly what you need and so by connecting with your subconscious mind and it almost always takes just one session.

Hypnosis allowes you to connect with your subconscious mind so you can hear what your subconscious mind is saying to break free of the issue, whatever that issue is that you are having.

I have seen therapeutic accelerated hypnosis work with clients. They have the answers after their session.

After the session, they feel differently about their problem. It’s either very small or has disappeared.

The results my clients get are why I love Accelerated Hypnosis.

If you have just been listening to YouTube videos and it’s worked for you – great! But if it hasn’t worked and your problem is still persisting, find someone who does therapeutic hypnosis.

Therapeutic hypnosis can help you get unstuck. You can access all the resources, all the answers, get all the results because you can have a session that is totally customized around you and your problem.

The hypnotist doesn’t have to know the answers to your problem because we’re going to connect with your subconscious mind that knows everything about you and has all the answers, all the resources, everything that you want, everything that you need to get unstuck.

And all these resources are already there waiting for you in your sbconscious mind.

You will know if it works by the end of the session because you will feel differently about your problem – the problem will feel very tiny or it’ll go away completely.

The only way you will know if hypnosis works, is to experience it working for yourself.
